Spiritual Psychology has a process to return lost parts of the unconscious that have dissociated from the soul due to emotional trauma, physical and spiritual loss. It is called "Soul Retrieval" and is based upon an ancient purification art using various modern methods including meditative hypnotherapy to bring the client into an altered state to enable them to find the lost fragments and be open to receiving them back.

Clinical psychologists are now researching their theories about dissociation, they now call it Dissociate Identity Disorders (DID). 

The soul is fragile and very sensitive to traumatic life conditions especially those experienced in childhood. The soul can and does fragment by "dissociating" itself from the conscious self. The spiritual process of "Soul Retrieval" assists the soul to return home to wholeness, peace and love. 

Parts of the human soul or axis mundi are free to leave the body and they will do so to protect themselves from potentially damaging situations - be they emotional, physical or even spiritual.

It is often a process used to heal a person from illness too. It is believed by many that illness comes from losing power or giving power away to something or someone. It may occur because of a living being who has an energetic cord attached to you and is sucking part of your soul away. In some of these situations, the soul part or parts may not return to the body on their own unfortunately and through the process of "Soul Retrieval" with Dr. Michael G Millett, intervention and healing is used to return the soul essence.
In some cases, the soul part will return of its own accord but sometimes it does not realize or know how to do that, or it does not know that it is safe to return and is full of fear to do so.

Other Ways to Lose One`s Soul 

Another way to lose ones soul is to give it away to someone. When two people are in love, or when they are in a family, it sometimes happens that they will give parts of their soul to their loved ones. A family member may give away part of themselves to protect the other. This type of soul exchange may seem acceptable because of a person's desire to share themselves with another, especially a family member or lover, but it is generally not healthy! The person receiving must then deal with this unusable energy in addition to his or her own problems. In addition, the persons who have given a piece of their soul away have disempowered themselves. The giver's reality and journey is made more difficult because they are not fully present to live fully in their life within their full power. 

Symptoms of Soul Loss

Some of the symptoms that would indicate soul loss include: depression (including post-natal depression and PTSD), alcohol and drug abuse, abortion, giving birth, a feeling of incompleteness, feeling stuck, an inability to move forward on some issue, lost memories, feeling like you are not in control of your life, disempowerment generally, eating disorders, lack of motivation, lack of inspiration and energy, M.E., mood swings, panic attacks, problems sleeping, self-harm, self-persecution, self-sabotage, suicidal tendencies and un-satisfying careers and relationships et al.

Soul loss is often accompanied by a feeling that something is missing from life and is often misdiagnosed by medical people and other practitioners due to their lack of appreciation and understanding of the impact that the soul has on the consciousness of the mind and body. 

The language that we use sometimes indicates this too like "I lost something when Dad died". "I was never OK, since the accident" etc.

Coma is a situation of extreme soul loss, where more of the soul is out of the body than in it. As with some of the other protective features of soul loss, this can be very appropriate at the time. If the body is in a great deal of pain for example, or if the soul needs time to consider its situation, a coma can provide needed time. 
Shock is another symptom of soul loss, where the individual's soul hasn't returned yet or hasn't fully re-entered the body. 

Your Soul's Return 

Indigenous cultures all over the world with active shamans have been retrieving parts of soul consciousness for thousands of years. Individuals would not be without their soul pieces for very long in these times as they knew it was important to address and retrieve them. The return would often be accompanied by celebration or a joyous welcome from family members. 
In today's modern world however, an entire lifetime can go by before certain pieces come home if they ever do without help and intervention! 
Whatever the case, its important to celebrate the return of your vital essence back to where it belongs - in the same way we would celebrate the return of a long lost loved one or something precious we lost that has now been returned to us or even liberated.

Preparation for the telephone or Skype call

• Please be available for the pre-arranged session and make the call at the agreed time. You are responsible for the cost of your telephone call. I will be reserving this time especially for you just as if you were to coming to my practice in Grantham. Those who are not available and do not contact me for the session by telephone or Skype will not have their money refunded. Instructions on how to install Skype if you would like to use this Free Service and don`t already have it on your computer are given further down the page.
• Naturally, I understand that circumstances can or a situation might arise which would require you to change our arranged appointment time. If this should be the case, please call me on 01476 568800 (Grantham, UK) or contact me by email at least 24 hours in advance, and I will be happy to arrange another time for your Soul Retrieval session.
• Please ensure that you will not be disturbed during the session.
• At your end, if you are using a telephone - the best is a speaker phone, a bluetooth, or a headset for this work.
• Use a a recliner or comfy chair and perhaps visit the bathroom before making the session call.

You may be interested in using Skype for our session, which is s free computer based phone application to contact me through and works on most common kinds of computer and operating systems throughout the world.

It is very easy to use. Having Broadband / DSL is recommended, a microphone and speakers are necessary too of course.
In order to have quality audio, it would be wise to purchase a headset / microphone that plugs into your computer rather than relying on your computer's external speakers. The quality of the audio will of course also be affected by the quality of the headset / microphone that you purchase. Those that plug into the USB port on your computer probably offer better quality sound, as USB connections will not slow down the audio transmission from the internet to your computer (as some sound cards might). Everything is encrypted by Skype before it is transmitted to the internet and then automatically decrypted by the receiving person's computer. In this way all communication is private and confidential and cannot be intercepted.
